Hello, for those who do not already know, my name is Ashley Wiggs, and I am the current grade 3/4 teacher at Red Earth Creek School. I am from Sydney, Nova Scotia, but have lived in Alberta for 13 years.  I came out to Albert with a 5-year plan that quickly went out the window when I met and married my husband, who is from Alberta.

I attended Mount Saint Vincent University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. I took a year off to work and teach in Ulsan, Korea. I completed my education degree at the University of Maine in Fort Kent, USA. I enjoy the ocean and the mountains, camping, reading non-work books during my free time, and spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Lucy and Haley. Building relationships and connections with students is vital for success. I am thrilled to be working at Red Earth Creek School.
